College Algebra is a 5 credit transfer course for students preparing for trigonometry or calculus. The focus is on analyzing linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and piecewise-defined functions. These functions will be applied to real-world contexts and explored symbolically, graphically, numerically, and verbally. In accordance with national recommendations, this course emphasizes skill building, problem-solving, modeling, reasoning, communication, connections with other disciplines, and the appropriate use of technology.

This class meets on Tuesday nights at 6 pm in W218 on the Wilsonville campus.

A transfer course designed for students preparing for trigonometry, statistics, or calculus. The focus is on the analysis of piecewise, polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, power functions and their properties. These functions will be explored symbolically, numerically and graphically in real life applications and mathematical results will be analyzed and interpreted in the given context.

Class meets Tuesdays at 8 am in Roger Rook RR 204
