This course will explore the relationship between substance use and infectious diseases, and discuss methods for reducing transmission of these diseases. Diseases will include HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, hepatitis, and sexually transmitted infections. This course will provide students with techniques for assisting clients with assessing risk, practicing harm reduction, and evaluating treatment options. 06/23/2025 - 08/14/2025
