This introductory course in digital photography will familiarize you with basic camera operation and help you develop and refine your computer skills in preparing and outputting images.This class will also expand your comprehension of visual design and composition, and give you a broad look at the history of Photography.

A variety of approaches will be introduced as a means by which you might achieve unique results in digital photography. These approaches will include written instruction covering camera function, image storage systems and image editing software.We will also discuss the relationship between traditional and digital photography.

You must have a 35 mm digital camera with an intact light meter that can be adjusted to function manually. You must also have basic computer skills, and a computer onto which you can download image editing software.
