The Nurse Assistant Program 1 equips students with the necessary skills to provide proficient care to clients in sub-acute care settings and community environments. This comprehensive course includes both theoretical and practical components, covering essential topics such as collaboration with healthcare teams, effective communication, person-centered care, infection control, safety protocols, emergency procedures, assistance with daily activities, addressing mental health needs, technical skills, observation and reporting, documentation practices, and end-of-life care principles.
