Provides instruction in the areas of parent education and life skills targeted to the issues of teen parents and high school students. This course will assist students in developing positive parenting skills, understanding of child development, appropriate practices for various developmental stages, building self-esteem, improving personal communication skills and developing survival skills. This course carries high school level credit only. May be repeated for up to 2 high school credits.
