Lab Course for ENGR-222. Must be taken concurrently with ENGR-222. 01/09/2020-03/19/2020 Laboratory Thursday 09:00AM - 11:50AM, Barlow Hall, Room B276
This course is an introduction to materials science, a field that describes the behavior of materials by utilizing principles of chemistry and physics to engineer new materials and predict their resultant properties. The course will focus on describing the microscopic physical and chemical structure of materials and relating that structure to the macroscopic thermal, electrical, and mechanical properties. The course will also cover the connection between atomic/crystal structure and materials processing. 01/06/2020-03/21/2020 Lecture Monday, Wednesday 11:00AM - 12:20PM, Industrial Technology Center, Room I111 (more)...
Kinematics, kinetics, work-energy, and impulse-momentum relationships of engineering systems. The course examines the fundamental principles of Newton's laws of motion, with applications to basic particles and rigid bodies in one, two, and three dimensions. 01/06/2020-03/18/2020 Lecture Monday, Wednesday 04:30PM - 06:20PM, Dejardin Hall, Room DJ235
The first course in digital design covers basic logic gates, Boolean algebra, Karnaugh mapping, number systems, timing analysis, and state machines. Students will become proficient with computational tools including schematic capture programs and circuit simulators. 01/06/2020-03/20/2020 Lecture Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11:00AM - 12:50PM, Barlow Hall, Room B276
